Ligularia 'Bottle Rocket' is a superb compact perennial grown for its dramatic mustard-yellow flower spikes and bold architectural foliage. In summer, upright chocolate-coloured stems carry dense clusters of bright yellow blooms just above the foliage, creating a vibrant display without the bare stems often seen on older varieties.

This improved selection forms a dense mound of very large, thick, serrated green leaves that remain attractive throughout the growing season. More compact and robust than its parent ‘Little Rocket’, it holds its shape exceptionally well even during warmer weather, making it an outstanding choice for damp borders, woodland gardens and bog planting.
