Leucothoe walteri 'Zeblid / Scarletta'
Leucothoe ‘Zeblid’ (also known as ‘Scarletta’) is a compact evergreen shrub with stunning, glossy foliage in shades of green, bronze and red. Forming a neat mound of arching stems and leathery leaves, which emerge bronzy-red in spring before maturing to deep green. Small white flowers are borne in spring. In cooler months, the whole plant takes on intense scarlet tones, making it ideal for year-round interest in borders, shady spots, or containers.
