Juniperus squamata 'Blue Star'
Juniperus 'Blue Star' is a compact, slow-growing evergreen conifer with dense clusters of steel-blue needles. Its naturally rounded growth gradually forms a neat, dome-shaped mound with a finely textured appearance.
The intense blue foliage retains its colour throughout the year, providing valuable evergreen structure and a striking contrast with green foliage, gravel and natural stone. Its tidy habit makes it particularly useful where planting space is limited.
Ideal for rockeries, gravel gardens, border edges, small gardens and containers, this hardy RHS award-winning variety requires very little maintenance. It performs best in full sun and well-drained soil and is drought tolerant once established.
