Juniperus scopulorum 'Blue Arrow'
Juniperus 'Blue Arrow' is a striking evergreen conifer prized for its exceptionally narrow, upright habit and vivid silvery-blue foliage. Its dense branches retain their colour throughout the year, forming a neat architectural column.
Its strong vertical shape makes an excellent focal point in borders, entrances and formal gardens without taking up excessive ground space. It can be planted individually, repeated in rows for structure or used as a hardy alternative to Italian cypress in cooler climates.
Hardy, reliable and low maintenance, 'Blue Arrow' thrives in full sun and well-drained soil and normally requires little pruning. This distinctive cultivar originated as a seedling selected in 1949 at Pine Grove Nurseries in Clearfield, Pennsylvania.
