Juniperus scopulorum 'Blue Arrow'
Juniperus 'Blue Arrow' is a striking columnar evergreen Conifer, prized for its very narrow, upright habit and vivid silvery-blue foliage. Retaining its colour throughout the year, it creates a dramatic vertical accent in borders, entrances, or formal gardens. Its neat, architectural shape makes it an excellent alternative to Italian cypress in cooler climates.
Hardy and reliable, ‘Blue Arrow’ thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. It requires very little maintenance and is particularly effective when planted in rows for structure or as a single specimen to draw the eye upward in the landscape. This cultivar originated as a seedling selected in 1949 at Pine Grove Nurseries, Clearfield, Pennsylvania, USA.
