Juniperus 'Blue Carpet' is a popular evergreen conifer with a dense, prostrate habit and striking silver-blue foliage. Its low, spreading branches gradually form a broad, finely textured mat that provides colour and structure throughout the year.
The bold blue colouring remains attractive through winter and contrasts beautifully with green foliage, gravel and natural stone. Its dense growth makes an effective ground cover, while light pruning can be used to maintain its shape or create a more sculptural appearance.
Ideal for covering banks and slopes, filling rockeries, edging borders or cascading over walls, this hardy variety requires little maintenance. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil and tolerates poor or sandy conditions once established.
