Hydrangea anomala subsp. petiolaris 'Silver Lining'
Hydrangea anomala subsp. petiolaris 'Silver Lining' is a vigorous and highly decorative climbing hydrangea, prized for its striking variegated foliage and strong wall-covering ability. The grey-green leaves are attractively edged and marbled with creamy white, bringing light and interest even to shaded areas of the garden.
In summer, large flattened clusters of creamy white flowers appear against the foliage, adding a soft, elegant contrast and enhancing its ornamental value. Like other climbing hydrangeas, it clings naturally to walls, fences and mature trees, making it an excellent choice for covering north- or east-facing walls. Easy to grow and reliable, it provides year-round structure and seasonal highlights.
