Hydrangea anomala subsp. petiolaris 'Mirranda'
Hydrangea anomala subsp. petiolaris 'Mirranda' is a striking variegated climbing hydrangea, valued for both its ornamental foliage and elegant summer flowers. Large, heart-shaped green leaves edged in creamy white provide bright, year-round interest, particularly effective in shaded parts of the garden.
In summer, broad clusters of creamy white lacecap flowers appear, standing out beautifully against the variegated foliage. This self-clinging climber is slow to establish but exceptionally rewarding once mature, making it ideal for covering north- or east-facing walls, fences, sheds or even tree trunks, where it adds long-term structure and seasonal charm.
