Hesperantha coccinea 'Pink Princess'
Hesperantha coccinea 'Pink Princess' is a graceful clump-forming perennial producing elegant star-shaped white flowers delicately flushed with soft pink. Rising above slender, semi-evergreen foliage on upright stems, the blooms bring a light and airy feel to the garden from late summer into autumn.
Flowering from July through to October, this reliable variety provides valuable late-season colour when many other perennials are beginning to fade. The delicate flowers are excellent for cutting and are complemented by the plant's neat, upright habit, making it a superb addition to a wide range of planting styles. It has been recognised with the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit for its outstanding garden performance.
Thriving in moist, well-drained soil, 'Pink Princess' is ideal for borders, raised beds, large containers and planting around ponds or streams. Easy to grow and low maintenance, it adds height, elegance and long-lasting interest to the garden while attracting pollinating insects.
