Geranium sanguineum 'Album'
Geranium sanguineum 'Album' is a charming hardy perennial producing masses of delicate pure white flowers from early summer into autumn. The blooms sit above a dense carpet of deeply divided green foliage, creating a soft, natural effect in borders and informal planting schemes.
Its low, spreading habit makes 'Album' an excellent choice for groundcover, edging paths and filling gaps at the front of borders. The flowers are also highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.
Hardy, reliable and very low maintenance, 'Album' performs well in full sun or light shade in moist but well-drained soil. It is particularly effective in cottage gardens, rock gardens and mixed perennial borders.
