Geranium phaeum 'Album'

Geranium phaeum 'Album' is a hardy, clump-forming herbaceous perennial with deeply lobed mid-green leaves. Slender, upright stems rise above the foliage, carrying elegant pure white flowers with prominent golden anthers.

The gently nodding blooms appear from late spring into early summer, bringing fresh brightness to shaded borders and woodland-style planting. The flowers are attractive to pollinating insects, while the dense foliage helps cover bare ground beneath shrubs and taller perennials.

Adaptable and easy to grow, 'Album' thrives in partial or full shade but will also tolerate sunnier positions where the soil remains moist. It performs well in moderately fertile, well-drained soil and can tolerate dry shade once established. Cutting back the spent flower stems encourages fresh foliage and occasional repeat blooms.
