Erica x darleyensis 'Silberschmelze'
Erica 'Silberschmelze' is a compact and hardy winter heather that provides a welcome splash of colour when little else is flowering. From midwinter into spring, it produces masses of pure white, bell-shaped blooms that smother the plant, creating a striking display against its fine, needle-like dark green foliage.
Low-growing and spreading, this variety is ideal for groundcover, edging, or planting in rockeries and containers. It thrives in acidic, well-drained soil and brings long-lasting interest through the colder months. A reliable performer, it is perfect for brightening borders and mixed plantings with dependable winter colour.
