Erica x darleyensis 'Darley Dale'
Erica 'Darley Dale' is a reliable winter-flowering heather that provides welcome colour when the garden is at its quietest. From December through to April, its evergreen stems are smothered in masses of soft pink, bell-shaped flowers that create a long-lasting display. The fine, needle-like foliage is deep green, forming a low, bushy mound that makes excellent groundcover.
Hardy and low-maintenance, this heather thrives in well-drained acidic or neutral soils and is especially effective at the front of borders, in rock gardens, or planted in drifts for carpets of colour. It is also well-suited to containers, where it pairs beautifully with other winter and spring-flowering plants. Holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit for consistent garden performance.
