Dianthus 'Early Bird Sherbet'
Dianthus 'Early Bird Sherbet' is a compact, highly floriferous perennial producing masses of large, fully double magenta-pink blooms with a delightful clove-like fragrance. Part of the renowned Whetman EARLY BIRD Collection, it begins flowering exceptionally early in the season, often from late February or early March depending on local conditions.
With regular deadheading, this reliable dianthus will continue to rebloom throughout spring, summer and into autumn, providing months of colour and scent. Its neat, compact habit makes it ideal for edging borders, alpine beds, containers, window boxes and patio planters where its fragrant flowers can be enjoyed up close.
