Coreopsis grandiflora 'Early Sunrise' is a cheerful, free-flowering perennial producing masses of brilliant golden-yellow, semi-double blooms with warm orange-yellow centres. The daisy-like flowers create a vibrant display above neat clumps of fresh green foliage, bringing colour and brightness to the garden from late spring onwards.
One of the earliest Coreopsis varieties to flower, 'Early Sunrise' continues blooming throughout summer, especially when regularly deadheaded. The nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects, while their long-lasting stems also make them excellent for fresh cut flower arrangements.
Easy to grow and exceptionally reliable, 'Early Sunrise' thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Ideal for mixed borders, cottage gardens, prairie-style planting and containers, this low-maintenance variety provides months of vibrant colour and dependable garden performance year after year.
