Chamaecyparis 'Filip's Happy Day' is a charming dwarf conifer with a compact, rounded habit and attractive flat sprays of mid-green foliage. In spring, the fresh new growth emerges with distinctive creamy-white tips, creating a bright and eye-catching contrast that gives the plant its cheerful character. Discovered as a seedling of the popular 'Plumosa Compressa', this relatively recent introduction offers excellent year-round structure and colour. Its slow growth rate and naturally tidy shape make it ideal for smaller gardens where it provides lasting interest without becoming overwhelming.
Perfect for rockeries, alpine gardens, borders and container displays, 'Filip's Happy Day' is easy to grow and requires very little maintenance. Its compact form and attractive foliage make it an excellent choice for adding texture and evergreen presence throughout the seasons.
