Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Blue Moon'
Chamaecyparis 'Blue Moon' is a compact, slow-growing evergreen conifer with a naturally rounded, dome-shaped habit. Its dense, feathery foliage is an attractive steel blue, providing strong colour and structure throughout the year.
Its neat, dwarf habit makes 'Blue Moon' particularly well suited to rock gardens, the front of borders and patio containers. The distinctive blue foliage also provides excellent contrast when combined with green, golden or silver-leaved plants.
Hardy, reliable and low maintenance, 'Blue Moon' performs well in full sun or partial shade in moist but well-drained soil. Its naturally compact shape generally requires little pruning, although occasional light trimming can be used to maintain a neat outline.
