Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Jeanette'
Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Jeanette' is a compact dwarf evergreen conifer forming a loose, rounded, bun-shaped mound of attractive variegated foliage. Its sprays of vibrant green are splashed with golden yellow, providing reliable colour and texture throughout the year.
Its naturally compact habit makes 'Jeanette' particularly well suited to smaller gardens, rockeries, the front of mixed borders and patio containers. The contrasting green and gold foliage adds useful brightness without taking up too much space.
Slow growing and low maintenance, 'Jeanette' increases by around 5-8cm per year and requires little pruning to retain its neat, rounded form. It performs best in sun or partial shade in moist but well-drained soil.
