Ceanothus 'Puget Blue' is a medium-sized evergreen shrub with a dense, bushy habit and glossy dark green foliage. From late spring to early summer it is smothered in clouds of rich blue flowerheads, creating a dazzling display that draws the eye from across the garden. The abundant blooms are also highly attractive to bees and other pollinators, adding life as well as colour.
A holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, this reliable variety performs best in a sunny, sheltered position with free-draining soil. Its upright, spreading form makes it perfect as a specimen shrub, against a warm wall, or as part of a mixed border where it provides both seasonal impact and evergreen structure.
