Camellia sasanqua 'Pink' is an elegant evergreen shrub producing masses of pretty pink flowers with prominent golden-yellow stamens. The blooms stand out beautifully against glossy, dark green foliage, creating a colourful display when many other garden plants are beginning to fade.
Flowering through autumn and into winter, this Camellia provides valuable seasonal colour and year-round structure. Its evergreen foliage remains attractive throughout the seasons, making it an excellent choice for adding interest to sheltered borders and garden containers.
Easy to grow in moist, well-drained, acidic soil, Camellia sasanqua 'Pink' performs best in a sheltered position in partial shade or gentle sun. It is particularly well suited to woodland-style planting, shady borders and large patio pots filled with ericaceous compost.
