Astrantia Sparkling Stars Series™ 'Diamond'
Astrantia Sparkling Stars Series™ 'Diamond' is a compact, clump-forming perennial producing masses of bright white, pincushion-like flowers on slender, wiry stems. The delicate blooms seem to float above the foliage, adding movement, elegance and a naturalistic charm to borders throughout the summer.
New to the Sparkling Stars Series™, this outstanding variety is distinguished by its striking variegated foliage, which provides ornamental interest long before the flowers appear. The crisp white blooms contrast beautifully with the colourful leaves and are highly attractive to bees and other pollinating insects. They also make long-lasting cut flowers for fresh floral arrangements.
Fully hardy and easy to grow, 'Diamond' thrives in moist, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Its compact habit makes it ideal for mixed borders, cottage gardens and containers, where it provides months of refined colour and texture with very little maintenance.
