Anemone hupehensis var. japonica 'Prinz Heinrich'
Anemone hupehensis var. japonica 'Prinz Heinrich' is a striking late-season perennial, producing vivid semi-double pink flowers with bright yellow centres held on long, slender stems. Flowering from late summer into autumn, it brings valuable colour and movement to the garden when many other plants are past their peak.
Compact and upright in habit, this Japanese anemone forms a tidy clump of dark green foliage, making it ideal for adding structure to borders and part-shaded areas. Easy to grow and highly reliable, it thrives in moist, well-drained soil and is particularly effective in woodland-style planting or mixed perennial borders. The nectar-rich blooms are also highly attractive to bees and other pollinators.
