Allium tuberosum 'Cliffs of Dover'
Allium 'Cliffs of Dover' is a compact, clump-forming perennial with glossy, strap-like green leaves that release a light onion scent when crushed. Its neat, upright foliage adds texture and structure throughout the growing season.
From late June to September, strong stems rise above the foliage carrying rounded clusters of bright white flowers. The clean colouring creates a fresh, elegant display and combines easily with other summer-flowering perennials.
Easy to grow and low maintenance, 'Cliffs of Dover' is ideal for sunny borders, gravel gardens and wildlife-friendly planting schemes. Its nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects, while the foliage is generally resistant to rabbits.
