Agastache rugosa f. albiflora 'Liquorice White'
Agastache rugosa f. albiflora 'Liquorice White' is an upright herbaceous perennial producing masses of clear white flower spikes above fresh green, aromatic foliage. Flowering from midsummer into autumn, it brings a light, elegant vertical accent to sunny planting schemes.
The foliage has a distinctive aniseed scent, while the nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees and other pollinating insects. 'Liquorice White' combines particularly well with ornamental grasses and cool-coloured perennials in mixed, cottage-style and wildlife-friendly borders.
Hardy and easy to grow, 'Liquorice White' performs best in full sun in well-drained soil and gradually develops into a neat clump. Regular deadheading can help encourage further flowers and extend the display through the season.
