Acer palmatum 'Cascade Ruby'
Acer palmatum 'Cascade Ruby' is a graceful weeping Japanese maple valued for its finely cut, deeply lobed foliage and flowing habit. The leaves emerge in rich green tones flushed with red, creating a multi-tonal effect that gently cascades down the stems and adds softness and movement to the garden.
Ideal for introducing height variation and contrast in mixed tree and shrub plantings, this elegant maple works beautifully as a focal point in borders or large containers. As autumn approaches, the foliage develops brighter ruby and crimson tones, delivering a striking seasonal display. Best grown in a sheltered position with well-drained soil and light shade.
