Wisteria x floribunda Grande Diva 'Cecilia' is the first floribunda variety to produce double lavender-blue and white flowers, creating an exceptional cascade of fragrant blooms from May to June. The long, elegant racemes are richly scented and melliferous, attracting pollinators while delivering a truly show-stopping spring display – often flowering generously from just the first few years.
Part of the prestigious Grande Diva collection, conceived in France in 2007 by Formidable Plant Breeders, this innovative range celebrates four world-famous divas: Barbara Hendrix, Nathalie Dessay, Maria Callas and Cécilia Bartoli. These vigorous climbers are noted for their magnificent decorative foliage, abundant branching and remarkable floriferous performance. Long-lived – potentially up to 100 years – they thrive in full sun on facades, pergolas, arbours and porches, and can also be grown in very large containers where space allows. Already recognised internationally, including within the RHS Wisley collection, this exceptional series represents a new generation of Japanese Wisteria.
