Viburnum plicatum 'Mariesii'
Viburnum plicatum 'Mariesii' is a superb architectural shrub, instantly recognisable for its distinctive layered, horizontal branching. The branches are clothed in rich green foliage, creating a graceful, tiered outline that brings strong structure to the garden.
In late spring, flat lacecap heads of pure white flowers appear along the length of the branches, creating a dramatic and elegant display. As autumn arrives, the foliage takes on rich purple and red tones, extending its seasonal interest well beyond flowering.
