Trifolium repens 'Angel Clover Chocolate'
Trifolium repens 'Angel Clover Chocolate' is a unique ornamental clover grown for its richly coloured foliage and attractive spreading habit. The mostly four-leaved foliage emerges with deep chocolate-brown centres and blood-red veining that blends into bright green tips, creating a striking contrast.
As the season progresses and temperatures rise, the foliage becomes greener with more pronounced red centres, providing constantly changing colour throughout the growing season. Perfect for edging containers, spilling over pots and softening mixed planting displays.
This easy-to-grow variety thrives in full sun or partial shade in free-draining soil or compost. Pair with darker foliage plants such as Heuchera for added contrast and impact.
