Tradescantia 'Purple Passion'
Tradescantia 'Purple Passion' is a vibrant trailing houseplant with elongated green leaves flushed with deep purple on the undersides. Its cascading stems and bold colour contrast make it a striking choice for hanging baskets, shelves, or mixed indoor displays.
This fast-growing variety thrives in bright, indirect light and brings a splash of tropical colour to interiors. Easy to grow and maintain, it performs best when regularly trimmed, encouraging bushier growth and a fuller display.

Tradescantia Care Sheet
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Too little light may dull the purple colour, while too much direct sun can scorch the leaves.
Water: Keep soil lightly moist, watering when the top 2–3cm feels dry. Avoid waterlogging.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a free-draining houseplant compost. Feed monthly in spring and summer with diluted fertiliser.
Humidity: Prefers average household humidity but will adapt well. Mist occasionally for lusher growth.
Pruning & Propagation: Pinch back stems to encourage a bushy habit. Propagates very easily from stem cuttings.
