Tradescantia 'Brightness'
Tradescantia 'Brightness' is a colourful trailing houseplant prized for its vibrant variegated foliage. The slender, lance-shaped leaves are beautifully patterned in shades of green, cream and soft pink, creating a fresh and cheerful display that brightens any indoor space.
Its fast-growing, cascading habit makes it ideal for hanging baskets, shelves and plant stands, where the colourful stems can spill gracefully over the edges. Easy to grow and quick to establish, this attractive variety provides year-round colour and works particularly well when combined with other foliage houseplants.

Tradescantia Care Sheet
Light: Bright, indirect light is best to maintain strong variegation and compact growth. A little gentle morning sun is tolerated, but avoid harsh afternoon sunlight.
Water: Water when the top few centimetres of compost feel dry. Keep evenly moist during active growth but avoid waterlogged conditions.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a well-draining houseplant compost. Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser.
Humidity: Average household humidity is usually sufficient, although it will appreciate slightly increased humidity during warmer months.
Pruning and propagation: Pinch out stem tips regularly to encourage bushier growth. Stem cuttings root very easily in water or compost.
