Tillandsia 'Silver Kop' - Air Plant
Tillandsia ‘Silver Kop’ is a striking air plant with slender, silvery leaves forming a neat rosette. The foliage is coated with fine trichomes that give it a soft metallic sheen while helping the plant absorb moisture directly from the air, creating a distinctive sculptural appearance.
Perfect for bright indoor spaces, it works beautifully displayed in glass terrariums, mounted on decorative wood, or placed in minimalist holders where its elegant form can be appreciated. Its soil-free growth and resilient nature make it ideal for creative plant styling and easy indoor care.

Tillandsia Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light or gentle filtered sunlight. Avoid prolonged direct sun, which can dehydrate the leaves.
Water: Mist thoroughly 2–3 times a week, ensuring water runs into the leaf base. Alternatively, submerge in room-temperature water for 20–30 minutes weekly, then shake off excess. Allow to dry fully before returning to display.
Soil/Nutrition: No soil needed. Feed monthly with a diluted bromeliad or air plant fertiliser added to your misting water.
Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity and good airflow. Excellent for bathrooms or kitchens with natural light.
Pruning and propagation: Remove any dried outer leaves to maintain a tidy rosette. Propagate from offsets (“pups”) once half the size of the parent plant.
