Tillandsia juncea
Tillandsia juncea is a tall, elegant air plant with slender, reed-like leaves that rise upward in a graceful fountain shape. The leaves are silvery-green with a soft texture, giving this species a refined, sculptural look ideal for modern interiors. During its bloom cycle, the centre can blush red or pink, producing delicate purple flowers.
Perfect for bright, airy rooms, this variety thrives mounted on driftwood, placed in decorative holders, or displayed in open terrariums. Its slim, vertical form makes it an excellent choice for desks, shelves, and bathrooms where humidity and airflow help sustain strong growth.

Tillandsia Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Can tolerate some gentle morning or late afternoon sun, but avoid harsh midday rays. Artificial grow lights are also suitable
Water: Mist 2 - 3 times per week, or soak for 15 - 20 minutes weekly. Allow to dry completely within 4 hours to prevent rot. Increase watering in warm, dry weather
Soil/Nutrition: No soil required. Display on wood, stone, wire, or in open glass vessels. Feed monthly with diluted air plant or bromeliad fertiliser
Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity. Kitchens and bathrooms are ideal due to natural moisture fluctuations. Ensure good airflow
Pruning and propagation: Remove dried or damaged leaves as needed. Propagate by separating pups once they reach one-third the size of the parent plant
