Tillandsia gardneri - Air Plant
Tillandsia gardneri is an elegant air plant with soft, silvery-green leaves that form a loose, graceful rosette. The foliage is covered in fine trichomes, giving it a velvety texture and helping the plant absorb moisture from the air. When mature, it can produce attractive pink bracts with delicate violet flowers, adding a subtle burst of colour.
Perfect for bright indoor spaces, it looks beautiful displayed in glass terrariums, mounted on decorative wood, or placed in minimalist holders where its sculptural form can be appreciated. Its soil-free nature and adaptable character make it ideal for creative indoor plant styling.

Tillandsia Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light or filtered sun. Avoid harsh, direct midday rays.
Water: Mist thoroughly 2–3 times a week, or soak in water for 20 minutes once a week, allowing it to dry fully afterwards.
Soil/Nutrition: No soil required. Feed monthly with a diluted bromeliad or air plant fertiliser.
Humidity: Enjoys higher humidity but must dry quickly after watering to prevent rot.
Pruning & Propagation: Remove any dead leaves at the base. Produces offsets (pups) after flowering, which can be separated when mature.
