Tillandsia argentea is a delicate and elegant species of air plant, known for its fine, silvery-green leaves that form soft, flowing clumps. This compact species naturally forms small clusters and thrives when displayed where air can circulate freely around the plant. Its subtle colouring and refined texture make it particularly suited to minimalist plant displays or creative indoor planting designs.

Tillandsia Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light or filtered sun. Avoid harsh, direct midday rays.
Water: Mist thoroughly 2–3 times a week, or soak in water for 20 minutes once a week, allowing it to dry fully afterwards.
Soil/Nutrition: No soil required. Feed monthly with a diluted bromeliad or air plant fertiliser.
Humidity: Enjoys higher humidity but must dry quickly after watering to prevent rot.
Pruning & Propagation: Remove any dead leaves at the base. Produces offsets (pups) after flowering, which can be separated when mature.
