Spathiphyllum Care Sheet
Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal, although it will tolerate moderate light. Avoid strong direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Water: Water when the top layer of compost feels slightly dry. Keep the compost lightly moist but never waterlogged, and do not leave the plant standing in water.
Soil/Nutrition: Use free-draining houseplant compost. Feed every 4-6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser.
Humidity: Average indoor humidity is usually suitable, although the plant benefits from slightly higher humidity in warm rooms.
Pruning and propagation: Remove faded flowers and yellowing leaves at the base. Propagate by dividing mature plants when repotting.
Experience level: Beginner.
