Solanum crispum 'Glasnevin' is a vigorous evergreen or semi-evergreen climber valued for its long season of exotic blue-purple flowers. The star-shaped blooms appear in loose clusters and carry a delicate fragrance, creating a striking display against walls, fences or trellises.
Flowering from early summer well into autumn, this fast-growing climber quickly covers sunny structures with lush, dark green foliage. In mild areas it remains semi-evergreen and may produce clusters of decorative red berries after flowering.
