Rosmarinus officinalis 'Tuscan Blue'
Rosmarinus officinalis 'Tuscan Blue' is a hardy evergreen herb prized for its strongly aromatic foliage and vivid deep blue flowers. Its dense branching and upright growth habit provide year-round structure, colour and fragrance in the garden.
Richly coloured flowers appear in spring and may continue sporadically through summer, attracting bees and other pollinating insects. The narrow, needle-like leaves are intensely fragrant and can be used fresh or dried to flavour a wide variety of dishes.
Ideal for low hedging, topiary, patio containers and mixed borders, 'Tuscan Blue' thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Once established, it becomes drought tolerant and is particularly well suited to herb gardens and Mediterranean-style planting schemes.
