Rhododendron Inkarho 'Lila Dufthecke' is a richly fragrant, fully hardy variety producing impressive trusses of lilac-purple flowers in spring. Translating as “purple scented hedge”, it is perfect for adding both colour and perfume to borders or informal hedging schemes.
Glossy green evergreen foliage provides year-round structure, while this Inkarho hybrid has been specially bred for lime tolerance, making it suitable for a much wider range of soil types than traditional rhododendrons. Reliable and adaptable, it performs well in partial shade and woodland-style planting.
