Rhododendron Inkarho 'Lila Dufthecke' is a richly scented, hardy evergreen shrub producing impressive trusses of lilac-purple flowers in spring. Its name translates as “Purple Scented Hedge”, reflecting its fragrance and suitability for informal hedging.
Glossy green foliage provides colour and structure throughout the year, while its broad, bushy growth creates an attractive evergreen presence. It is ideal for mixed borders, woodland-style planting, informal screening or growing as a specimen shrub.
Grown on specially developed INKARHO® rootstock, 'Lila Dufthecke' has improved tolerance of lime and a wider range of soil conditions. Plant in partial shade or light sun in humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil for reliable growth and flowering.
