Rhododendron 'Azurro'
Rhododendron 'Azurro' is a striking evergreen shrub producing large clusters of vibrant violet-blue flowers, each marked with a contrasting maroon-red throat. The bold flower colour stands out beautifully against the glossy, dark green foliage.
Flowering in late spring, 'Azurro' provides a dramatic seasonal display while its evergreen leaves maintain structure and colour throughout the year. The flowers are also attractive to bees and other pollinating insects.
Compact, hardy and easy to grow, 'Azurro' is ideal for smaller gardens, mixed borders and woodland-style planting. Grow in partial shade or gentle sun in moist but well-drained acidic soil, using ericaceous compost when planting in containers.
