Rhododendron 'Belkanto' (INKARHO)
Rhododendron 'Belkanto' is a compact evergreen shrub with glossy dark green foliage and a neat, rounded habit. In late spring, it produces large trusses of creamy yellow flowers beautifully flushed with soft pink and peach tones.
The pastel-coloured blooms create an elegant contrast against the deep evergreen foliage and are also attractive to bees and other pollinating insects. Its compact growth makes 'Belkanto' particularly useful where a colourful Rhododendron is required without becoming overly large.
Grown on INKARHO rootstock, 'Belkanto' has improved tolerance of a wider range of soil conditions than many traditional Rhododendrons. It is ideal for woodland gardens, mixed borders and specimen planting, performing best in moist but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade.
