Rhipsalis burchellii
Rhipsalis burchellii is a graceful epiphytic cactus with slender, cylindrical green stems that develop into a softly cascading display. Unlike desert cacti, it naturally grows in tropical forest environments, making it particularly well suited to hanging pots, shelves and elevated indoor displays.
With maturity, Rhipsalis burchellii can produce small, delicate, star-shaped flowers in white to pale cream tones, typically during the cooler months into spring. It prefers bright, filtered light and slightly more moisture and humidity than traditional desert cacti.
