Redcurrant 'Ribest® Babette®'
Redcurrant 'Ribest® Babette®' is a compact and highly productive variety, ideal for smaller gardens and growers seeking an early harvest. It produces impressively large, glossy red berries with a mild and fruity flavour—perfect for both fresh eating and culinary use. The fruit ripens from early June and hangs in long strings, making picking fast and efficient.
Despite its compact size, 'Babette' delivers excellent yields and displays good vigour. Its upright habit and ease of care make it a reliable choice for gardeners of all experience levels. A great addition to mixed fruit gardens or ornamental beds with edible planting. Like all currants, it is self-fertile and benefits from protection from birds as the fruit ripens.
