Pulmonaria longifolia 'Opal'
Pulmonaria 'Opal' is a charming semi-evergreen perennial with narrow, silver-spotted foliage and delicate clusters of flowers that open from pink buds to soft opal blue in early spring. It brings welcome colour and texture to shaded parts of the garden when little else is in flower.
A valuable early nectar source, this lungwort is highly attractive to pollinators emerging from winter. Ideal for woodland borders, shaded containers and planting beneath deciduous trees, it combines beautifully with spring-flowering bulbs and other shade-loving perennials.
