Primula vulgaris 'Pharaoh White'

Primula vulgaris 'Pharaoh White'

Primula vulgaris 'Pharaoh White' is a compact, early-flowering primrose producing crisp white flowers with cheerful yellow centres. Its single blooms sit just above neat rosettes of small, rounded green leaves, bringing colour to seasonal displays when the garden needs it most.

Selected for early flowering, the Pharaoh series is particularly useful for November to January displays, although timing varies with weather and growing conditions. Its tidy habit suits patio pots, window boxes, mixed containers and the front of borders. Combine with blue primroses, variegated ivy and small evergreens for an attractive display through the cooler months.

Grow in partial shade or a sunny position with fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Keep container compost evenly moist without allowing it to become waterlogged, and remove faded flowers and damaged leaves to maintain a fresh appearance. After its seasonal display, this perennial primrose can be planted into a suitable garden border.
