Primula Belarina® 'Valentine'
Primula Belarina® 'Valentine' is a striking double primrose producing masses of rich, intense red flowers. The fully double, rosette-shaped blooms are held above neat green foliage, creating a bold and luxurious display during the early months of the year.
Flowering from February to May, its fragrant blooms provide long-lasting spring colour when many other garden plants are still dormant. The compact, clump-forming habit makes it particularly effective in patio pots, window boxes and seasonal container arrangements.
Hardy and easy to grow, 'Valentine' performs best in partial shade and fertile, free-draining soil or compost. It is equally attractive in raised beds and at the front of borders, while removing faded flowers will help encourage further blooming.
