Polemonium 'Bressingham Purple'
Polemonium 'Bressingham Purple' is a compact and beautifully coloured Jacob’s ladder, prized for its distinctive purple-tinted green foliage and elegant, ladder-like leaf structure. Rising above the foliage in late spring, clusters of slightly fragrant cobalt-blue flowers sway gently on burgundy stems, adding movement and rich seasonal colour to the garden.
The foliage develops an even stronger purple flush in cooler weather, providing interest long before and after the flowering period. Thriving in partial shade and preferring cooler conditions during the hottest months, this reliable perennial is ideal for borders, woodland-style plantings and mixed beds where its unique colouring can be fully appreciated.
