A compact perennial with balloon-like buds that open into starry white flowers. Platycodon ‘Astra White’ is a dwarf variety of balloon flower, ideal for pots, alpine beds or the front of sunny borders. Its inflated buds add charm before bursting into open blooms, and its tidy, clump-forming habit makes it easy to place among other perennials. Long flowering and low maintenance, it thrives in well-drained soils.
