Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Golf Ball' / 'Pom Pom'
Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Golf Ball' / 'Pom Pom' brings year-round colour and structure with dense evergreen foliage and a naturally rounded shape. Small green leaves create a fresh, finely textured appearance, while the compact, bushy growth forms an attractive mound with very little clipping.
The neat habit makes these pittosporums ideal for low hedging, border edging and patio containers. Planted individually, they provide simple focal points, while repeated along a path or through a border, their rounded outlines give planting a sense of rhythm and definition.
Grow in full sun or partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Choose a sheltered position away from cold, drying winds, and provide winter protection in colder gardens. Light trimming, if needed, helps maintain a tidy outline, making them useful choices for smaller gardens and formal planting schemes.
