Pilea peperomioides
Pilea peperomioides is a charming, easy-care houseplant with round, coin-shaped green leaves held on slender stems. Known as the Chinese Money Plant, it has a neat, upright growth habit and produces offsets freely, making it a symbol of good fortune and sharing among plant lovers.
This compact and cheerful plant thrives in bright rooms, adding fresh greenery to desks, shelves, or windowsills. It adapts well to modern interiors and performs particularly well in kitchens and living spaces, where its playful form and pet-safe nature can be enjoyed by the whole household.

Pilea Care Sheet
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Can tolerate some gentle direct sun but avoid harsh midday rays.
Water: Water when the top 2–3cm of soil feels dry. Prefers evenly moist soil but not soggy.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a light, well-draining houseplant mix. Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with diluted fertiliser.
Humidity: Tolerates average household humidity.
Pruning & Propagation: Remove older yellowing leaves at the base. Propagates easily from offsets (pups) around the base of mature plants.
