Picea pungens 'Glauca Globosa'
Picea 'Glauca Globosa' is a compact, slow-growing evergreen conifer with dense, silvery-blue needles and a naturally rounded, mounded habit. Its rigid, spiky foliage retains its striking colour throughout the year, bringing bold contrast and texture to garden planting.
This dwarf Colorado spruce is ideal for rockeries, gravel gardens, mixed borders and containers, particularly where space is limited. Its strong blue colouring contrasts beautifully with softer foliage, flowering perennials and darker evergreen plants.
Hardy and low maintenance, 'Glauca Globosa' performs best in full sun and well-drained soil. It requires little pruning to maintain its compact shape and becomes drought tolerant once established.
