Photinia × fraseri 'Carre Rouge'
Photinia × fraseri 'Carre Rouge' is a striking evergreen shrub with superb year-round presence, producing vivid bright red young foliage in spring that gradually matures to deep, glossy green. Notably, the fresh red growth lasts well into early summer, holding its colour longer than many other varieties.
More compact and naturally tidy than Photinia ‘Red Robin’, ‘Carre Rouge’ is ideal for garden planting, low hedging or even large containers. Hardy and very easy to maintain, it responds well to clipping and thrives in full sun or light shade, becoming drought tolerant once established.
